Technical Analysis

By: WEEX|2024/11/06 04:14:01

Technical analysis (TA) is a method used by traders to predict future price movements of cryptocurrencies or other assets by analyzing past price data, volume, and market trends. TA involves using various chart patterns, indicators, and oscillators to identify potential entry and exit points for trades. Common tools in technical analysis include moving averages, relative strength index (RSI), Bollinger Bands, and support/resistance levels. Unlike fundamental analysis, which looks at the intrinsic value of an asset, TA focuses on market sentiment and historical price behavior. Example: A trader may use the RSI indicator to determine if Bitcoin is overbought (RSI above 70) or oversold (RSI below 30), which could signal potential reversal points.
